The administration at St. Olavs Hospital got tired of the chaos in front of
the main entrance when employees were driven to work by their loved ones. To
accommodate, the employees and their loved ones got their very own lane for
good bye kisses and well wishes.
According to the Norwegian television channel NRK, the idea is that these
employees will get out of the car in this lane in stead of creating a chaos
with their good byes at the main entrance.
The kiss and drive lane, which was opened Monday, is marked on both sides of
the road, and pink hearts painted on the asphalt lead the way the 400 meters
to the hospital’s main entrance.
